It is an old style Milanese building in which the apartment preserves the precious cementine flooring, the classic oak parquet placed in a herringbone pattern, as well as the antique fixtures which surprise us with their impressive moldings.

This is a project which wants to highlight the “break” with the past, stitching it back together and putting the emphasis on the sign, without hiding it but rather exalting it, as in the insertion of brass slabs in the floor.

The palette – selected for custom furnishings, the walls and the grosgrain paneling – are mainly variants of green; from sage to mint to a tone of grey. Mint dominates the kitchen with brass details that make it a current revisitation of American kitchens from the Fifties.
