Paipu table

The Paipu dining table, featuring a thick tube that was folded to create its base, recalls the diktats of high‐tech architecture in the ‘70s, where all the mechanical engineering and structural elements were laid out on the facades and left totally exposed.

Designed by Dainelli Studio for Frag, this project adds a light decorative soul to the rigor of modernism. The thick curved steel tubes, arranged into a cross in order to form the base, instill movement and rigor to the project, setting up a dialogue in harmonious juxtaposition with the richness of the precious marble surface.
