Dainelli Studio was commissioned for the interior design of the new Pastry Lab in Livorno by Loretta Fanella, an internationally renowned gourmet pastry chef. The space includes both a laboratory, where handmade desserts are made for individual clients as well as restaurants, and an Academy, where pastry-making courses for amateurs and for professionals are held during the evenings.
The Pastry Lab, one part of which is open to the public, the other being reserved for the staff, is molded into a harmonious synthesis of functionality and aesthetics. The choice of colors revolves around a powdery, soft and textured palette, with the predominance of pink shades.
For the details and finishes, the design focused on exalting attention to detail and careful planning to accommodate all the processes that this Tuscan pastry chef’s work involves.
